Are my JPG images uploaded anywhere?
No. Your images are converted on your own device and never sent anywhere — there is no upload step at all. Nothing to store, nothing to delete afterwards, because we never receive your files.
Will I lose quality converting JPG to AVIF?
AVIF is a lossy format, so re-encoding can lose a little detail — but at a high quality setting the difference is hard to see, and you control the quality slider before you start.
Does AVIF support transparency?
Yes — AVIF preserves transparent backgrounds, so alpha channels survive the conversion.
Can I convert many JPG files at once?
