Frequently asked questions
Are my PNG images uploaded anywhere?
No. Your images are converted on your own device and never sent anywhere — there is no upload step at all. Nothing to store, nothing to delete afterwards, because we never receive your files.
Will I lose quality converting PNG to WebP?
WebP is a lossy format, so re-encoding can lose a little detail — but at a high quality setting the difference is hard to see, and you control the quality slider before you start.
Does WebP support transparency?
Yes — WebP preserves transparent backgrounds, so alpha channels survive the conversion.
Can I convert many PNG files at once?
Yes — drop in a whole batch and convert them together, with a live before/after for each image. The Free plan handles up to 10 images per batch; Pro removes the limit and adds .zip export.
